6-000161 (1 Entry) First entry from Holle Wagner, Illinois
  1. 1-03-08: Holle Wagner - Illinois - Act of Kindness that was shown when the bug was received or given away – My mommy bought this bug for me so that I could learn about kindness and spread it around my pre-school (Jack & Jill Child Care Development Center in Belleville, IL). I have enjoyed my mommy reading me the Kindness Bug Book. It is really good. I am giving this bug & book to my teacher’s (Mrs. Jennifer & Mr. Shane) so that they can help teach all of my classmates and I about kindness. Then when someone in my class does something kind, they will get the bug and the book. Then when someone else in the class does something nice, the bug and book will be passed on to them & so forth. This is going to be so much fun. I can’t wait to see who all has received this bug and book that was given to me. Thanks…Holle Wagner
6-000252 (1 Entry) First entry from Morgan, Ohio
  1. 10-1-07: My name is Morgan and I have Bobby the Army Ant, number 6-000252, I'm a Junior High Student in Ohio. Bobby is important to me because my father is currently in Iraq. This is his 2nd time going overseas. He will be over there for at least a year. My mom had a stroke 3 weeks after my brother was born. My mother and I dont really have any family to help us out. My goal with this project is to find kids like me who have a parent in Iraq, and help them get through this difficult time. I hope to also find people I can relate to, and who are able to understand what I am going through.

6-000378 (1 Entry) First entry from Mary Zeigler, Missouri
  1. 11-05-07 - Mary Zeigler and
I live in Missouri. I went out and got a teacher lunch when she couldn't leave. I purchased Bobby the Army Ant several months ago while my husband was in Iraq. I wanted to honor him and his fellow soldiers by passing on kindness when there seems to be very little of that in their world. He is now back but preparing to go to Afghanistan soon. I decided I needed to let Bobby go out before he leaves and pave the way with kindness.
